HISTORY: The St. Louis Tennis Association was formed on April 10, 1917, as part of the U.S. Lawn Tennis Association. In 1920, the St. Louis District Tennis Association changed it’s name and joined the newly formed Missouri Valley Section.
TODAY: USTA St. Louis is one of seven districts within the Missouri Valley Section that encompasses a five-state region.

Executive Director and Junior Competition
USTA St. Louis is seeking a highly motivated person to become its Executive Director/Junior Competition Coordinator. This person is responsible for the leadership and management of all tennis activities and programs associated with USTA St. Louis. This position is an administrative position and does not require any on-court responsibilities.
The candidate must have the ability to take the initiative on creating new projects and to work independently, as well as collaboratively. The candidate must be extremely organized, capable of coordinating a high level of detail and the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate must be willing to assume new responsibilities as they may arise. This position is full-time, requiring flexible work hours including some weekends. Board of Directors
Board meetings are held bi-monthly at our District office, typically on the last Monday of the month, and our board members are elected to two-year terms. If you are interested is serving on the 2023/24 Board of Directors, please, send an APPLICATION and resume before the September 15th deadline. Interviews will be conducted early October for the October 24th Annual board meeting.
